My Experience With Zorbing

Does zorbing deserve trying?

Zorbing is an activity in which a person is placed in a transparent sphere or what we called zorb ball and rolled down a hill or a flat slop. Sometimes people may put some water inside the ball to make zorbing more interesting.

If you think the zorb ball is delicate, then you must be wrong. The sphere has two layers. The outer layer is rigid, while the inner layer is flexible. Between the layers is air that acts as a shock absorber. As the zorb ball rolls, the people inside move back and forth, but usually the zorb ball doesn’t roll fast enough to make the players feel uncomfortable. Some zorb balls can even hold up to two or three people.

My experience

Zorbing was founded in New Zealand in 1994 and to this day, New Zealand remains a hotbed of zorbing. Going to zorbing is a unique experience. It is real cool to get inside the ball and roll down the hill while also sliding inside. Anyone from kids to adults can participate in this exciting and unique activity. I’ve been wanting to try zorbing for a long time so I finally experience it. The staff got the ball in place, gave me some final instructions, and told me to get in. The zorb ball starts slowly but accelerates quickly. With each turn, I moved a few feet inward, but I didn’t feel uncomfortable. The soft bounce and movement gave me a wonderful feeling. After a few minutes, I reached the foot of the mountain and walked out of the zorb ball. 

Although zorbing is much fun but some people may be afraid to give it a try.
