Handstands

According to the direction of the flip, there are three types of handstands: forward, backward and sideways. It is also one of the basic movements in skill sports such as jumping with support.


Hanging

A stationary movement in which the human shoulder axis is lower than the axis of the apparatus and exerts tension on the grip point. When only the hands are draped over the equipment, it is called "simple draping", e.g. draping on the bar. Where the hands and part of the body are both draped over the apparatus or touching the floor, this is called a 'mixed drape', such as the single hanging knee drape. The drape is one of the basic movements in apparatus gymnastics.


Spin flip

It refers to a complex flip movement in which the body is turned around the vertical axis while flipping along the horizontal axis for a fortnight after being airborne. According to the direction of the flip, it is divided into front rotation and back rotation; according to the posture of the body, it is divided into group rotation, bending body rotation and straight body rotation; according to the number of weeks of body rotation, it is divided into two weeks of rotation and three weeks of rotation, etc.


Tumbling

It refers to the tumbling action in which the torso touches the ground or the equipment in turn, and also passes through the head. There are forward rolls (forward direction of movement) and backward rolls (backward direction of movement), which are part of the gymnastics initiation training.
