Zorb Balls Enriched Our Family Reunion (Part 3)

As I mentioned in my last post, after the party dinner, we decided to start experiencing this special game. Once the zorb ball filled the air, they were all endlessly curious about the zorb ball, except for me and my mum and dad who had already seen it once.

As everyone was about to put on the zorb ball, my dad instructed some precautions in order to prevent us from destroying the zorb ball during the game.

Some precautions

First of all, each of us should check if we have any sharp objects such as mobile phones, hand jewellery, keys, etc. on us. If so, we should take them all out to prevent them from piercing the zorb ball.

Secondly, if our clothes have zips, it is also a good idea to change them, as they can also cause damage to the zorb ball.

Then, check for sharp objects on the field.

Game start

Firstly, we played the game together with 16 people, divided into two groups, one or a few people from each group were identified as prisoners and the rest were guards. In the first game I was one of the two prisoners.

The prisoners were placed on the other side behind the enemy camp and the guards were tasked with rescuing their prisoner team members and bringing them back to base camp, as well as preventing the enemy prisoners from escaping from their own camp. This means that each team has to guard their prisoners while attacking, and not allow the other team to rescue them.

The attacking guards release the prisoners from the prison by touching the bubbles, but also by controlling the force, as if a prisoner is knocked down or steps out of bounds they must return to the prison and play continues. The first team to rescue a prisoner is the winner.

We played a few rounds together and I was both a prisoner and a guard, it was really so much fun.

How I felt

This game was very new and I hadn't played it before. But apart from having a fun experience, we also became more bonded through working with each other in this game. This is a great game for family gatherings. If you want to try this game too, you can go to Kameymall and buy some zorb balls too.
