Safety standards
SB (Safety Basis). These shoes meet the minimum requirements and have a steel, composite or aluminium toe. These shoes also provide adequate protection against falling objects and have a dent resistance of at least 200 joules. The heel has a shock absorption capacity of at least 200 joules.
Class S1. The shoe is anti-static and absorbs energy at the heel.

Grade S1P. This shoe has the same performance as the S1 standard and has a steel or non-steel midsole. This is to prevent spikes and other sharp objects from being able to penetrate the shoe and reach your foot.
S4 rating. This shoe has the same performance as the S3 specification. They are made of plastic, making them waterproof.
