Step 5: Apply the glue and let it dry

Just spray it over your small hole and wait for it to set. Alternatively, if you're using a patch, apply the glue to the air near the hole in your inflatable. Step 6: Apply pressure

To make sure your patch sticks, apply a steady pressure as you apply it to your inflatable. This is particularly important for inflatable boat seam repairs, as it requires your patch to flex in one corner. Wait two to three minutes before removing your hand and releasing the pressure.

Step 7: Carry out a patch inspection

After letting your glue dry for two to three hours, test your patch with a small amount of water to see if it is working and if there is any air present. If it is working, continue with step 8.

Step 8: Re-inflating your mat

The final step in repairing any inflatable mat is to re-inflate it to see if it has air. If it does, the job is done. If not, you may need to seek professional help.
