Diving In Head Firstly Like Superman

Although New Zealanders are so keen on their adventurous lifestyle, it's hard to deny the logic of their excitement and I soon found myself in front of the giant ball which was indeed being filled with water. Fortunately it was warm water and they really didn't add that much, just enough to make it interesting.

The ball started rolling

There was a hole in the side of the zorb ball that led directly to the inner zorb ball. The staff told me to "dive in head first like Superman". Before I knew it, I was inside, the hatch was closed and the ball started rolling.
Human Hamster Ball if you've ever wondered what it's like to be in a washing machine, then rolling a ball is as close as you can get. As the huge ball rolled down the track down the hill, I found myself bobbing around in all directions, never staying in the same place for more than a second.

Water and a little uncertainty
Even then, in the chaotic world of scattered light, water and a little uncertainty, I knew I was having fun. In real time this roll couldn't have lasted more than 30 seconds, but it felt like an eternity to me and I loved it. Rolling around in all directions, I felt like an old sock, but the journey was exciting for me. I've never experienced anything like it before.

Ending
As quickly as it started, it was over and as I unconsciously extricated myself from the giant plastic sphere, I looked up at the staff and said, "I want to do that again!" Sadly, I wasn't allowed to play in the hamster ball all day, but I could have easily done so. There is a uniquely pure, unadulterated fun in the experience and I just have to keep that spirit alive.
