After clipping the hair, press the sides down to clip the hair. When fixing pressure sensitive clips, it is best to start from the middle. Once you've secured your hair, move to the next clip. Once all the clips are in place, pull on your hair and test it to see if it's safe. If it's loose, find the clips and reclip them to make sure it's safe.
