Zorbing is really fun

Last summer we spent an afternoon as a family at Body Bounce Activity Park in Newquay, Cornwall, UK. What was our favourite activity? Body Bounce. First, a helpful teenage staff member pushed and squeezed us into these huge inflatable zorb ball. Our legs were stretched out so we could stand up. We grabbed onto the harnesses inside and just banged around. From time to time a non-compressor would push us or roll us. It didn't feel dangerous or wild. It was just mildly pointless. And it's really fun!

You can rollerblade on land or in the water
There are two types of zorb ball: wet and dry (or hydro zorb and harness zorb). In a wet zorb you are completely enclosed in a bubble and float, or travel, on the surface of the water.
There are many variations of Bubble Ball, including the awesome Bubble Football game where each player is encased in a bubble, and the Hurricane Ride at West Edmonton Mall, which is described as something between a waterfall and a rollercoaster!

Zorbing was born in New Zealand
Zorbing began in Rotorura, New Zealand, which still has one of the most incredible bobsled tracks and is hugely popular with locals and tourists alike. However, folklore has it that Zorbing was designed in England. The sport looks fantastic. However, try to get one, or rent one, or whatever.
