In the previous article we have covered the requirements for the standing triple jump and two ways to practice the related skills through the mini air track mat. We also mentioned that this event is more common in exams and university sports, and of course, it is good for your health.
Today, we will continue to talk about how training with the mini tumble track can effectively improve students' performance in the standing triple jump. After all, the core strength of the standing triple jump is the lower body and the lower back, which are the two key parts of the body.
Purpose of the exercise: to develop students' lower limb strength by jumping across the mini air track mat in the shape of an "A" with a height of about 30-35 cm, as there is a certain initial speed that allows students to better appreciate the aerial action of the stride jump, with the thighs actively swinging forward and the hips actively sent forward, with the feeling of floating in the air, and when landing When landing, actively press the lower leg forward to form a complete straddle jump.
Exercise method: Put 6-8 mini air track mats in the shape of an "A", with a height of 30-35cm and an interval of 1.5-2.0m, students will jump across the mats in turn.
Teaching requirements: 10 sets of repetitions. Students should step across the folded gymnastics mat in turn, paying attention to controlling the body's centre of gravity, into a "lunge" across the folded gymnastics mat, landing on the ground with active downward pressure, in preparation for the next jump.
Double-legged abdominal jumps and straddle jumps on a mini air track mat
Purpose of the exercise: To develop students' lower limb strength by jumping with both feet on the abdomen and jumping across the small gymnastics mat, to learn to coordinate the power of the stirrups and to experience the aerial movement of the stride jump.
Exercise method: Combine the movements of double-legged abdominal jumps and stride jumps over the air track mats, students jump over 6-8 "A" shaped air track mats with an interval of about 1m and a height of 50cm with both feet in turn, then stride jump over 4-6 air track mats with an interval of 1.5-2.0m and a height of about 30-35cm.
Teaching requirements: 10 sets of repetitions. When jumping in succession, the jump should be quick after landing, paying attention to the height of the tuck, the distance of the landing and the coordination of the stirrups. When crossing the folded gymnastics mat in turn, students should pay attention to controlling the weight of their bodies and cross the mat in a "lunge", and when landing, they should take the initiative to press down and stomp on the ground in preparation for the next jump.

As a university student, I'm tempted to buy some air track mats from Kameymall and start practising for the standing triple jump - who wouldn't want to show off at the games?
