Why Is The Swimming Lesson With An Air Track So Impressive?

We all know that gymnastic mats have been widely used in school physical education classes. I am a secondary school student and I often see gymnastic mats in my PE classes. Firstly, the mats can protect us from injuries during training, otherwise we would fall on the floor and it would hurt. Secondly, we can also use the mats to play games in PE class. What is the air track that our school has prepared?

In the picture above, there is a very long mat. It is an inflatable gymnastics mat, the air track I mentioned, which is 3 m long, 1 m wide and 0.1 m behind. Because it is inflatable, it has features such as better elasticity, softer surface, easier to carry and store, and more versatility. Look at the purple border and light grey cross section of this mat, it's full of youthfulness and we all love it.

Of course, another reason why we love this mat, apart from its excellent features, is that our PE teacher used it to give us a special swimming lesson.

How did this special swimming lesson with the air track work?

Our PE teacher put the air track in the middle of the pool. You know, because the air tumble track is inflatable and inflatable products are generally more buoyant. So the air track can carry the pupils through the water and we have about two dozen pupils around this mat floating on the water, using it as a life buoy and doing basic swimming strokes. The idea was fantastic. Also, many of our naughty friends jumped on the mat to do exercises, which was really fun.
