Dad Took Me To Run On Water

I went to play a game with my dad last weekend. My dad took me to experience a game that I hadn't played at all before and it was amazing. But it wasn't the game that made me most happy, it was the time I spent playing the game with my dad. The dad I remember was basically at work and rarely had time for me. Do you want to know what game it is? I'll tell you!

Have you ever seen a giant balloon three metres high? You probably think I'm joking with you, because how can there be such a big balloon? If the balloon is that big, people can get in it. My dad says it's THE zorb ball, also known as the water walking zorb ball.

What is a water walking ball

It is a huge three-metre high inflatable sphere made of plastic transparent balls. It can carry us through the water and run freely. It's really quite a special ball.

Before entering the zorb ball we have to put aside all sharp objects such as watches, hand jewellery, keys etc. and even take off our zipped clothes if we are wearing them.

We were allowed to breathe in the zorb for a maximum of 15 minutes, so it was best not to stay too long. All of the above is what my dad told me.

How we played

My dad and I each got into a zorb ball and first tried to walk or run through the water. Once we got a bit better we started to race. That's right. A race through the water. You can hear the fun in the water. Running in the water is not like running in the playground. Unfortunately, I lost to Dad in the end. Dad didn't even know to let me go a bit.

Then, to make the game even more exciting, we bumped into each other. I wasn't scared at all because the zorb ball protected us from the impact. Then I got to experience what it was like to be knocked down and then roll around in the water with the zorb ball. It was amazing!
